Tasmania - Day 5

--
As with all the other days on the East coast tour, on the first day of the West Coast tour we had a very packed day with lots of places to visit despite of having to spend a lot of time on the road on the first day.

They picked us up at the Hotel at 6:30 am, John was going to be again our guide for the next 3 days.

I still don't have any group pictures although this time, the group is made up of 5 Japanese, 4 Germans, 2 Brits, one Australian and Aída and myself.

Our first stop was at the Mount Field National Park:

Here I just saw my first Paddi Mellon (not sure about the spelling)

and fromt the bottom

Trees were huge...

On our way to the next destination we passed by and stopped at the the Medowbank Lake

Then back on the bus in direction to Lake St Clair and it looks like you can never be alone on these roads:

Then we stopped at the Lake St Claire National Park for lunch.
And don't say you haven't been warned!

We had a stop before reaching the Franklin-Gordon wild rivers

Next stop was the Nelson Falls
On this one I look like someone blessed by some deidity

And we came to spend the night to Stranhan. As in the previous tour (East Coast), Adventure Tours has its own houses so we usually spend the night in either one of the houses like today or sometimes in a nearby hotel.

We had dinner, chatted for a while, played cards and went to bed relatively early.
