Today wasn't a very interesting day crossing Cook's strait in the ferry. In order to go from the North Island to the South island it took about 3 hours, after that it was all driving all the way to Kaiteriteri, our destination.
The views from the ferry when coming into the South island where spectacular although my camera doesn't make them justice...yeah you can also blame the photographer! :-)
When we got to Kaiteriteri it was still sunny so everyone took the opportunity and made his/her way to the beach...
The accomodation wasn't bad all
The beach looked fantastic after so many hours of travelling
A long day but a bit of a waste...not much to do except from moving forwards... hopefully the next days will be more interesting
