Broome - Day 2

--
Our flight was leaving Broome in the afternoon and the airport (it was more an airstrip than a proper airport) was a 5 minutes walk from our accomodation.

Before landing in Darwin the flight stopped at a place called Kununurra. I kid you not, that is the real name of the place!

Before reaching Kununurra we took a few pictures of Broome from the air.

I've seen houses bigger than this airport (Kununurra), really, have a look. This is a photo of the whole airport:

Have you ever seen those big electronic panels at the airports where they display all the arrivals and departures?

This was the "electronic" panel at Kununurra airport

We went through security once again and made it back to the plain, now on the last leg of the flight, Kununurra - Darwin.

Darwin doesn't look as good as Broome from the air, we'll see on the ground. :-)

From there we took the local shuttle that left us at the door of our new accomodation, "The Cavenagh".
Not too shaby if you ask me.... Nice swimming pool.

Tomorrow we'll have all day to explore town and if all goes according to plan, Alan, Laura and Sharon (from the tour Perth to Broome) will also join us in Darwin.
